2015 USBA Finals

The stage was set on a cold and windy October day where only 2 teams were left standing left to determine the winner of this year's coveted trophy.

Minnesota Twins verses the Kansas City Royals.

Minny's path to the finals had to go through the Yankees and the powerhouse Texas while KC had a tougher road travelling through Atlanta and the Jays.

With the cold weather determined to play a factor it certainly did its part by neutralizing the bats early making this a low scoring affair.  Going into the 5th inning and the score only being 3-2 Minny, it was the Minny's bats that decided to wake up to put up a 5 spot.  A lead that proved to great for the Royals to mount a comeback.

Minnesota 9 KC 4.

With KC's back against the wall they shrunk their lineup sitting several players to go with their top 10 guys in hope of forcing a deciding game 3.  With this being a low scoring affair again, it was Kajen who decided to put his team on his back and launch 2 monster homeruns to put his team in the lead for good.  With Minnesota up 9-2 going into the 6th it was all but over.

KC calls a timeout and tried to rally the troops.  With their vets leading the charge they managed to score 6 runs over the final 2 innings but fell inches short as the final out was made by Imtiaz deep in centerfield at the warning track.

Congratulations to Minnesota this year's 2015 USBA Champions. First team in USBA history to go Back to back to back......
